Bitbucket Server 7.1 release notes
24 March 2020
We're excited to present Bitbucket Server and Data Center 7.1.
In this release, we've added tracking for all pushes in a repository, and we've added support for ElasticSearch 7.5.2.
Track every push to a specific branch in a repository
The push log allows repository admins to quickly see how the branches in a repository have changed over time. It includes details like who, when, and how the change took place, for example; pushing new commits, merging a pull request, and editing a file in a browser.
To bring your team a more streamlined audit of information whenever you need to find out specific information quickly, check out Push logs for details.
Updates to supported platforms
In Bitbucket 7.1, we've made changes to the technology that powers search, and enabled support for Elasticsearch 7.5.2.
As such, all Bitbucket Server instances will have their version of Elasticsearch updated to 7.5.2. This will happen automatically when you start your application after upgrading.
