The color schemes described on this page are different to the user-choice themes, which include a dark theme, and are applied to the user’s view of Confluence. Users can switch between these user-choice themes.
You can configure color schemes for light and dark themes separately.
The information below relates only to a color scheme that’s installed to your whole site.
Confluence administrators can configure a new color scheme for the site. The default color scheme for the site will also become the default for all spaces within it.
To change the site's color scheme:
- Select Administration menu , then select General Configuration.
Under Look and feel on the left, select Color scheme.
Enter standard HTML/CSS2/CSS3 color codes, or use the color picker to select a new color from the provided palette.
Select Save.
Any changes you make will immediately be reflected across the Confluence site.
Reset your color scheme after uploading a site logo
When you upload a light theme logo for the site, Confluence automatically detects the colors in your logo and customizes the light theme color scheme for you.
You can change the color scheme as above, or reset your color scheme back to the default (and still keep your new site logo).
To reset the color scheme:
- Select Administration menu , then select General Configuration.
- Under Look and feel on the left, select Color scheme.
- Select Reset
