Checks to perform when capacity is not showing in Advanced Roadmap plan timeline

Summary

If you don't see capacity in the timeline of your plan in Advanced Roadmap then you can perform the below checks in your plan configuration.



Solution

Check 1:

Navigate the View settings menu 

  1. Check if the group by option is set to Team or Sprint.

  2. Check if the checkbox next to Show capacity on timeline is selected.

If either of the configurations is missed then you won't see the capacity in the timeline.

Check 2:

When grouping by Sprint or Team, if the selective Sprint section or Team Section is missing the capacity then,

  1. Go to the Teams section in the plan
  2. Check if the Project or Board is set as a source for any one of the teams added.

Check 3:

  • Ensure the sprints are part of the Project or Boards which are added as an issue source in the plan

Sprints which are not from the issue sources of the plan but are assigned to issues in the plan will not be part of the capacity planning. These sprints will have an "EXT" grey lozenge next to the sprint name in the plan.
