Connection to authentication server failed message when logging into Crowd after changing servers

Problem
The following appears in the UI when trying to log in:
Connection to authentication server failed. Please review the logs for more information
Cause
- The crowd.properties file was not updated when the Crowd Home Directory was migrated.
- Failed to login due to the http connection timeout.
Resolution
Cause 1:
- Edit the crowd.properties file in the root of the home directory.
modify the line
crowd.server.url
so that it points to your new Crowd server.
