Symptoms

Client applications ( JIRA, Conflunece, etc ) have trouble creating new users when connected to Crowd

Cause

This will happen when the client application is using an incorrect version of the Crowd client jar.

Resolution

Ensure the Crowd jars used by the client application match the current version of Crowd ( under $APP/WEB-INF/lib )
