Summary

This article explains the differences between the "Recently Worked On" section (displayed by default on the Confluence home page) and the "Drafts" section, especially when collaborative editing is enabled. It clarifies what types of content appear in each section and distinguishes between unpublished changes and drafts.

Explanation

1. Recently Worked On
The "Recently Worked On" section lists pages, blogs, or other content you have edited recently. This is dynamically updated based on your activity to give you quick access to the content you frequently interact with.

  • Includes:
    • Content you've recently edited and published.
    • Unpublished work-in-progress content.
    • Drafts with content but no title.
  • Does not include:
    • Drafts without any content.
    • Drafts without a title and content.

2. Drafts
The "Drafts" section displays incomplete content that has not been published. These drafts are stored as personal items and are distinct from unpublished changes.

  • Includes:
    • Drafts without content.
    • Drafts without a title and content.
    • Drafts with content but no title.
  • Does not include:
    • Unpublished work-in-progress content.

Details

To locate and manage these items:

  1. Open Confluence.
  2. From the Home Page (Recently Worked On Section), you can:
    • Quickly access pages with unpublished changes or pages you've recently interacted with.
  3. From your Profile > Drafts, you can:
    • Review all drafts saved as incomplete, including untitled or empty drafts.
