Viewfile Macro is Unable to Locate the Attachment

Symptoms
When viewing a {viewfile} (including {viewdoc}, {viewxls}, {viewppt} and {viewpdf}) macro, Confluence displays this error message on the page:
The viewfile macro is unable to locate the attachment "test.doc" on the page "Test Page" in space "Test Space"
Cause
Confluence is unable to find attachment specified in the macro.
Resolution
- Verify that the attachment exists in the specified page and space
- Verify that the attachment name is matching
- Verify that the attachment extension is included e.g.
.doc,.pptor.pdf - Verify if the attachment name has any special characters
