Unable to Save Page Edits Using Oracle DB (ORA-01691: unable to extend lob segment)
Symptoms
- When saving pages, users see the following message: "An error occurred while trying to save the requested page."
- Oracle database is being used to back Confluence.
The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log

Cause
The Oracle database has run out of space. The database has failed to allocate an extent of the required number of blocks for LOB segment in the tablespace indicated.
Resolution
Your database administrator will need to add or extend a datafile to the tablespace relevant to Confluence.
