Symptoms

After unmarking a space as a favourite and refreshing the Dashboard, the space still shows as a favourite. The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log:

ERROR [http-8080-3\] [com.atlassian.hibernate.HibernateObjectDao\] doInHibernate There is more than one label named 'favourite' in the 'my' namespace.
-- url: /dashboard.action \| userName: admin \| action: dashboard

If you don't see this error in your logs but have the same symptom, the problem can be related to proxy.

Cause

This is a bug that affects version 3.3. See CONF-20633.

Workaround

Use the workaround provided in CONF-20633:

1. Visit the space.
2. Locate the pull down menu on the top right hand corner and select Browse >> Advanced.
3. In the Advanced console, locate the Remove Space from Favourites menu (bottom left) and click it.

Resolution

Upgrade to 3.4 or later.
