Symptoms

When performing a space export to PDF the job reports it is 100% complete in the UI but the "Download Here" link does not appear. Refreshing the page does not make the button appear. No PDF is created in the <confluence-home>/temp directory.

The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log:

2014-12-02 15:08:19,430 WARN [Long running task: PDF Space Export] [confluence.extra.flyingpdf.ConfluenceExportUserAgent] getImageResource Could not retrieve image resource

Cause

The plugin that provides the Space Export functionality is not behaving as expected.

Resolution

• Go to Confluence Admin page by clicking on the cog icon > Manage Add-ons option and disable the Confluence PDF Export plugin.
• Re-enable the Confluence PDF Export plugin.
• Test the Space export to PDF, the Download here link should now appear.
