Symptoms

Notification emails are not being sent for a specific page, or a group of pages. 

An account used for watching content creation in Confluence was created to be notified of all page creates in Confluence, but this user receives no notifications.

This user is an external user, created in an LDAP system.

The user was added to the watcher list of a page, but possibly shows up as 'Undefined {0}' in the watchers list.

Cause

This happens because the user has never logged in to Confluence, even though they are part of the ldap sync. 

Resolution

• Ensure this user has logged in at least 1 time.

• You may want to flush the caches:

  * Navigate to Confluence Admin > Cache Statistics
  ** Click flush all
