How to change bullet style in a Confluence page

This is considered a customization and therefore isn't eligible for support as described in Atlassian Support Offerings. This has been tested in Confluence 4.3.3.
Purpose
By default, in Confluence the bullet style will be a circle. You can change the bullet style on the global, space, or page level.
Solution
Change bullet style on global or space level
- Navigate to the Stylesheet screen
- If you would like to change the bullet style globally, navigate to Browse >> Confluence Admin >> Stylesheet
- If you would like to change the style on a certain space, navigate to Browse >> Space Admin >> Stylesheet
Add the following CSS:
.wiki-content ul { list-style-type: square; }

Change bullet style on page level
- Ensure that the HTML Macro is enabled
Insert an HTML Macro at the top of the page, and put the following as its body:
<style> .wiki-content ul { list-style-type: square; } </style>
