Problem

After renaming the Application Link or upgrading, the JIRA Issues macro could not be rendered with the following ERROR:

Error rendering macro 'jira' : Couldn't find an application link with the name {0}.

Cause

The application ID in the macro link has not been updated to reflect the changes in the application link.

Resolution

Run a force upgrade process for the JIRA Issues macro to update the application ID :

1. Go to the URL <CONFLUENCE-URL>/admin/force-upgrade.action
2. Select the  jiraIssueMacroServerParamsUpgradeTask from the drop down list.
3. Run the Force Upgrade.
