Summary

"GovCloud region" is not listed under Region while setting up AWS Elastic Agent.

This feature was enabled in version 6.7. However, in order to show the GovCloud under Regions dropdown, it is necessary to add the property to the Bamboo Application.

Environment

6.7 +

Cause

Missing the proper property to the Bamboo Application that allows GovCloud region to appear under Regions dropdown list.

Solution

In order to get the GovCloud region to appear, add the following system property to the Bamboo Application.

-Dbamboo.s3.agent.bucket='us-gov-west-1'
  • Stop your Bamboo Server
  • Go to your <bamboo installation> /bin and edit setenv.sh file, in ${JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS:=""} add the following:
    -Dbamboo.s3.agent.bucket='us-gov-west-1'

  • Start your Bamboo Server
  • Verify if it is showing in the list
