Bamboo uses SVNkit (native java library) for Subversion connectivity.

The SASL authentication mechanisms that are supported by Active Directory are documented on MSDN.

Our recommendation is to use use CRAM-MD5 authentication which is supported when Active Directory is being used, over Plain as it doen't work with SVNKit.
