Diagnosis

The Directory “ck_upload_store” inside the “attachments” directory is taking up a huge amount of disk space.

Example Directory : JIRA_HOME/data/attachments/ck_upload_store

Cause

In similar tickets we have observed ck_upload_store directory is generally created by the plugin “JEditor - Rich Text Editor for Jira”. This plugin is provided by a vendor Bobronix. 

Solution

1. Please check whether your Jira instance has Installed app "JEditor - Rich Text Editor for Jira" in the manage app section.
2. If you see the installed app, then check with vendor support on what can be done further on this. You can Contact Support here.
