Summary
The Bamboo Base URL may have changed however you can no longer access the administration panel / UI to update it via Bamboo Administration > Overview > General Configuration as the login form is redirecting to an inaccessible URL.
Environment
Any supported Bamboo version.
Solution
Update the Bamboo Base URL manually on the filesystem with the following steps:
The administration.xml file is located in the following paths:
- Bamboo 7 and earlier:
<bamboo-home>/xml-data/configuration/administration.xml
- Bamboo 8 and later:
<bamboo-shared-home>/configuration/administration.xml
- Edit the administration.xml file.
Adjust the below element to the required value:
administration.xml<myBaseUrl>https://bamboo.atlassian.com</myBaseUrl>
Restart Bamboo
